
ABOUT
The CLAP Association aims to promote social, cultural and environmental well-being, guarantee universal access to cultural goods and promote cultural democracy through intercultural, inclusive and artistic interventions. Our main objective is to contribute to the integrated development of the community, valuing cultural diversity and promoting equal opportunities for all citizens. We believe that art and culture are powerful tools for social transformation and we work to make them accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or social status.

OUR TEAM

LUIS RODRIGUES
He has a degree in Sociocultural Animation from ESELx (Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa) with an in-depth degree in Multicultural Mediation.
He has worked and developed projects in the arts with people with functional diversity for over 20 years.
He is director and founder of several theater groups in the area of inclusion, and is currently director of Companhia (In) Different - an inclusive theater group and founding member of CLAP ASSOCIAÇÃO, of which he is president of the board.
He designed and coordinated several European cultural and artistic projects in the area of youth and adult education.
He is a trainer in the areas of project methodology, sociocultural animation and theater.

LUIS FERNANDES
Sound artist, director and multimedia trainer. He creates music for dance, theater and visual arts, highlighting his collaborations with Illustrator Margarida Botelho, Performer Margarida Mestre, the "Compota" Project by Paula Pinto, "PRETA" by Giovanni Lourenço, "Seara" by Madrasta Dance and " DEN.TRO" by Maria Fonseca. With a degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Documentary Cinema, he has been awarded awards in the field of auteur cinema and has over 20 years of musical experience.

ANTÓNIO GONÇALVES
António Gonçalves has a degree in occupational therapy and is a music therapist. Since the beginning of his career, he has worked with young people with disabilities applying his therapeutic and humanistic knowledge.
He was an actor at the ground theater in Oliva, Sintra; participated in puppet construction and manipulation courses, formed groups of gigantones and has carried out creative work, such as theater and body expression with young people from CERCI Lisbon.
He has contributed to national and international projects as an actor and trainer.
He is a guest professor at the Escola Superior de Saúde de Alcoitão, developing the discipline of creative expression.

ALEXANDRA SANTOS
Alexandra Bugalho Santos responsible for monitoring and evaluating the SPiRAL project. We studied development studies and coordinate community development program teams. He has worked on various themes such as migration, diversity, gender, young people.

DIANA MOTA
Master in Dance Movement Psychotherapy.
Master in Drama Therapy, has worked as a Drama Therapist and Dance Movement Psychotherapist since 2009. I have been part of national projects and coordinated European research and community and artistic intervention projects since 2004.

LUIS SILVA DIAS
Master in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education, he is currently director of services at Escola Profissional Bento de Jesus Caraça. At this establishment he was coordinator of the professional sociocultural animation course.
He was an Internship advisor for students on the Professional Sociocultural Animator Course under the FCT regime (Training in a Work Context) in a National context and in an ERASMUS + International context.
He also worked as a swimming teacher, Expression and Physical-Motor Education teacher and Social Educator.

DORA ZSUPOS
Dóra is an experienced project manager with over a decade of experience in the arts and non-profit sectors. His professional career includes collaboration and leadership of several groups, having coordinated inclusive international projects in several countries. Her work focuses on human diversity, disability advocacy and artistic self-expression. Since 2010, Dóra has been the International Projects Coordinator at HSAWA, where she advocates for the redefinition of disability through the social model and promotes the role of disability arts in promoting social change.

ANA PAULA SILVESTRE
Ana Paula Silvestre has a degree in Clinical Psychology from ISPA and a master's degree in Women, Gender and Development from the National University of Bogotá.
For years, he assumed responsibility for projects relating to the development of public policies related to Gender Equality and Organizational Culture of NGOs, coordinating research and staff training at UNHCR, the Catalan Federation of NGDOs and other institutions.
She is a certified trainer by the High Commission for Migration (public and governmental institute) in matters related to International Dialogue and Intercultural Education.
She is a visual collage artist, sound recordist and DJ and integrates her experience and knowledge as a psychologist and artist.
